Core Purpose

Frustrated by mandatory 2FA systems that feel clunky and fail to prevent standard session hacking? NB Fake 2FA turns the tables. It presents a highly realistic, premium 2FA modal asking for a code sent via email, but no code is ever sent. Instead, the login succeeds as long as the 3rd digit entered matches your configured secret digit. It functions as a stealth second password (or "Pathword") that only you know.

Quick Start

  1. Activate the plugin alongside NetBound Hub.
  2. Navigate to NetBound Tools > NB Fake 2FA.
  3. Configure your target secret digit (default is 7).
  4. Use `[​fake_2fa]` on any frontend page or view.

How do I update this plugin?

Updates are managed automatically through the NetBound Hub dashboard.

What if I lock myself out?

You can use the secret URL bypass parameter configured in your settings (e.g., `wp-login.php?bypass_2fa=YOUR_KEY`) or temporarily rename the plugin directory via FTP/File Manager to disable it.
